Thanks for stopping by my neck of the internet.

I work as a software applications engineer focused on HPC/AI at Intel in Santa Clara. My primary research interests are in the applying parallel, high-performance, and reconfigurable computing to traditional HPC as well as AI workloads. I am also interested in performance modeling and prediction of scalable applications on large-scale systems.

Besides that, I am always eager to learn more about space and philosophy, and experiment with art and baking.

If you have any questions about my current or past work, want to discuss a future collaboration, or if you just want to say Hello, Hi, Howdy, please get in touch with me via email.

Research Interests

I am drawn to the application of computing to enable breakthroughs in sciences, which in turn may improve our quality of life. As Richard Hamming said, "The purpose of computing is insight, not numbers!"

  • High-performance computing, parallel computing

  • Modeling and disrete-event simulation, performance analysis and performance prediction

  • Use of machine learning and AI in HPC

  • High-performance reconfigurable computing.

Education

I graduated with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Florida in 2017 from Center of Compressible Multiphase Turbulence and Center for High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing. My PhD research focused on coarse-grained multi-scale modeling and simulation of application and architectures in aid of faster co-design cycles.
